Can a men wear gold watch with casual dress ?

my father gave my husband a gold watch on our wedding..i want to know that can he wear it casullay or he should wear it with formal dress??
its kind of expensive watch...

I don't like gold, I think silver goes better with most everything. However, because it's sentimental and I'm sure you would like to wear it as much as possible I would suggest that you not wear it with yellow or white, these colors tend to make gold stand out way too much. Also, watches like yours usually do not go well with T-shirts. I don't know if you're a Polo kind of guy for a casual outfit, but I would advise it. Lastly, try not to wear it with rings or necklaces. Too much jewlery looks tacky; remember, less is more.
