Would guys rather watch a football game from home or live at a stadium even if seats are far back and its cold?

I got my boyfriend nfl game tickets for his favorite team for christmas but now i'm nervous. the seats are veryyy far back in the upper deck. i hear the view should still be good, but in general would guys rather watch from the comfort of their home/ tv or at the stadium even if its cold (december/january in the north) with not the greatest seats? Any advice on if this is a good present would be great. Thanks!

He will love it. Watching the game at home on a big screen tv is awesome because you see everything but being at the game and screaming along with other fans can't be beat. As long as the seats aren't in the endzone it will be a good view. What stadium is he going to?
