Will this satisfy my unhappy wife?
My wife is very anti-war, so I've decided to placate her. She thinks the beard I'm growing is just a fad, but I'm really up to something. I have bought a tent and hid it in our closet. She doesn't know anything about it. And I've been working with an Arabic coach in order to learn some basic Arabic phrases. I bought a turban from local novelty shop.
After my wife leaves the house next Tuesday, I'm going to set up the tent and a video camera (inside the tent). She gets home around five o'clock every day. When I hear her open the door, I'm going to shimmy into the tent and start chanting out anti-Bush phrases in Arabic. I know this will grab her attention.
When she comes up stairs I'm going to be holding up a copy of the most recent New York Times and, in Arabic, crying out anti-Bush and anti-war phrases.
I hope she gets turned on and kisses me through my Osama beard and unwraps the turban off my head as she's stripping the rest of my costume off.
