How can I fix my brand-new, Sony Cyber-shot's too dark LCD display?
The LCD display is dark purple (!) to black. The woman at Office Depot was able to push a button and fix it, but didn't explain that to *me*.

It's A Cyber-shot DSC-S650, and it's not responding to the brighntness adjustments! It's still just a dark purple/black. =(
There's a few different kinds of Cyber-shots but heres a few ways to do it:
1) Press 'menu' and go right. Go down to "Setup 1" and the LCD Backlight option may be there. Change it by using this.
2) THere's a little circle button with 4 buttons in it: one has a flower, another a clock, etc. Press the one with the square and the + - symbols and adjust.
