What is a good dog for my lifestyle? i dont mind big dogs?
I am away from home from 9 till 4 o clock. I love German sheperds, maltese and greyhounds.
We have a small yard, but when we move we might get a large yard (in a year or so)
we would probably pay for someone to walk it or drop it off at a dog/puppy school. We could walk/jog it for a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes at the moment a maltese seems ideal and i love how they look (low maintenance)
working from 9 to 4 is not a problem as long as you can get a dog walker or take the dog to doggy daycare. Being alone from 9 to 4 is a bit long.
Most dogs can adapt well. I find the size of the yard or home is not such a big deal. Most dogs will just sleep when the owners gone....or chew up the couch 
. As long as you keep the dogs tired, a good long walk before leaving and arrange a mid day walk....you can have any dogs. But puppy takes a lot of time and effort, I just raised one. I will recommend an adult dog instead for your lifestyle.
