Is there a free or inexpensive Employee Time clock program you can download off the web and use on your PC?
We own a small pizza shop and we have employees just writing times down, I want something a little more efficient, hopefully a program that runs off your computers clock?
[I agree with Koos N (this is not the sort of program someone can name off the top of their head) but I knew this was a far from straightforward Google search, so I did some Googling of my own 'cos you'd have probably asked this same question even if you had Googled this beforehand. Next time, just Google obscure things like this first and then ask here if you can't find what you're looking for. It's always appreciated and makes people more willing to help you out]
Indeed, finding such obscure application (especially of the freeware type!) took all of my Goggle expertise and a fair bit of luck too. These are my findings:

may be good but the product page doesn't make it clear whether everything you need is included in the program or whether you need additional software or one of those biometric devices they're plugging to do the actual clocking in and out.
None of the other free programs there seem ideal:
a) some of them are not 'free' at all - just a 30-day trial! -
b) others are Web-based only (you'd be entirely at the mercy of that web time clock interface and your internet connection)
c) and others require you to have a server or complex installations.
- I was about to post my findings here but then I clicked 'Free' on that same page for the sake of it pretty much and unbelievably I found a program that wasn't listed under 'All' (for some weird reason) and that looks exactly like what you're after:

There are some nice clear screenshots for the program there. Just as importantly, I was able to find actual reviews from people who use this program! (instead of just PR blurb like all the other programs):
