Just a q, ok so 2 questions first is i just got my ati x1650pro card and?
I got the ati catalyst program off ati website and went to the overdrive section, i then hit run automated clock config utility at it auto overclocked my card about 75 to 100 mhz, bet it made the temp 90 c.... After the test i backed it to normal fearing that was too high for this card am i right or can i trust that program that ati itself made. Also can i back my core and mem clock speed all the way to there lowest mhz since no games demand anything i can reach on this card or will underclocking hurt my card worse? I was just gonna do this so it would be less heat and hopefully extend the life, and when i get another more demanding game go back to default settings thanks

With the mhz all the way to the lowest they will go and it is running at around 63 c

lowering the frequencies will not significantly increase your cards life; the default (PRO) settings will allow your card to outlive the useful life of its DX 9.0c support, respectively the time that whatever CPU (Intel duocore / AMD X64 aso.) you have will still be fast enough to run M$'s code (Vista 2, or whatever it'll be)
bad news, running your card @ 63° will not compensate for the time where it runs over 70/75°
a few hours at 93° and you will have to get yourself a new card 
75° to 85° will make this a few days.
a Zalman VF-700 Cu may keep the temperatures below this range, even (reasonably) clocked up, but you will have to have enough WATTs in your PSU (450 to 500 W, depending on what else is installed) and the slot next to the X1650 free.
